FAQ
Q - What should I wear? A - Remember there will be Costume Contests! The 5 categories will be: Best Goddess, Best God, Best Fantasy Being, Best Coordinated Couple, and Scariest. Remember to sign in for your costume category as soon as you enter the Ball Room. There can only be 10 candidates for each category and there cannot be any repeated entries. Keep in mind that you will be navigating through a crowded room and seated at a table with other people when you look at large or extended costumes. We do ask that there be a costume or plain clothes. Due to the age acceptance of 16 and up, we are asking that people do not attend "Sky Clad" (nude) or extremely scantily dressed. |
Q - Can I bring infants? A - Due to the noise, drinking and crowds,  we do not allow infants at the Witches Ball.   If you are nursing you may want to reserve a   hotel room and have a baby sitter there in the room.   This will allow you to take breaks to your room to feed the baby. |
Q - Do I get a Discount on the hotel room? A - Yes! Crowne Plaza is offering a special   rate for AZ Witches Ball attendees. If you want a room   for the night mention that you are with the event when registering.   We have been quoted a rate of approximately $89 per night.   This is very reasonable considering the elegance, spaciousness   and beauty of the hotel rooms. |
Q - Are tickets sold at the door? A - No. Because the event will have a seated and exquisitely  catered dinner with two selections, the catering service   needs to know how many of each delicious dinner will need   to be prepared. They need this information before the night   of the Ball. This does not allow us the option of selling   tickets at the door. The ticket dead line will be October 10th   and the Grande Ball Room only has a capacity for 320   people to dine. Therefore, we must stop selling tickets by   October 10th or when seating is no longer available. |
Q - Can I bring alcohol? A - No. A Cash Bar will be provided at the Ball for legally "of age" drinkers. |
Q - Can I take photos? A - Photos of the entertainment are always allowed but please be  considerate and ask before taking photos of other celebrants. |
Q - Why can’t I buy tickets after October 10th? A - Because the event will have a catered dinner,   the catering service needs to know how many of each   dinner will need to be prepared before the night of the Ball.   To meet this dead line, tickets can not be sold after October 10th.   There is also a ticket limit because the Grande Ball Room only   has a capacity for 320 people to dine. Therefore, we must stop   selling tickets by October 10th or when seating is no longer available. |
Q - Can I get a dance only ticket? A - No, because this is a quality multi course catered event, the hotel  cannot provide tables and chairs for anyone that has not   purchased a dinner without causing us dinner purchase confusion. |
Q - Why are Tickets $35? A - This cost includes your catered dinner, gratuity, taxes,  and the cost of printing the tickets. We are not here   to make a profit and we do not make money on your tickets. |
Q - Why are my online tickets $36.50? A - The added $1.50 covers the added paperwork, book keeping  and man power needed for on-line sales. |
Q - How can I help the AZ Witches Ball Committee? A - Attend Fund Raisers, Volunteer to help at the event,  share some of your Talents by gifting us with some of   your Arts and Crafts for the Raffles or send a gift of   support by checking out our To Help link. |
